ISSUES

Adam Withrow's Platform

ENERGY

As a political candidate, I believe it is important for us to make a smooth transition from our current 19th century energy concepts to the 21st century and beyond. I am committed to incentivizing the adoption of new technologies for long term reductions in energy costs, regardless of individual beliefs on climate change. Together, we can work towards a cleaner and more sustainable future for our country.

HEALTHCARE

I support a public option as a way to increase access to healthcare for all Coloradans. I also believe that it's important to expand Medicaid to cover more people and reduce the cost of healthcare. Additionally, I believe that Medicaid and private insurance should provide coverage for home births for uncomplicated pregnancies and that the FDA should review herbal medicines to lower prescription drug costs.

VETERANS

I believe that we need to expand reentry programs for veterans who are leaving the military, including multi-year cool down periods for those who are having difficulty readjusting to society. Our veterans have put their lives on the line to defend our country, and it is our duty to provide them with the support and resources they need to lead fulfilling lives.
