-Cultural Literacy is as valuable as the ability to read. Our curriculum needs to bridge cultural and generational gaps. Children need to learn to understand both their elders and their neighbors.
-Public schools should offer more before and after school options for children with two working parents. Longer options for the school day lead to longer options for the work day.
