Gun Rights
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
-Second Amendment, United States Constitution
Like it or not...
-We must honor and protect the United States Constitution. It is the legal framework that outlines just what the government is. We can't respect one right and not the other.
-Most federal gun laws are outlawed by the Constitution. The federal government really has no say in the matter.
It's a Right, not a privilege.
-Guns and violence really are two different conversations, even when the violence is committed with guns.
-No gun law will prevent criminals from obtaining and using firearms. Citizens have a right to self-defense.
-It is the right of the individual to determine what is adequate, not the government.
